Feast of St Benedict

IMG_1477.JPG

The workshop is mostly in a fallow, but still working on some little items like a gardener’s tote, the mini greenhouse, and some furniture designs.

The balance of activity has been more toward gardening this season-my workshop smells like garlic, strung from the ceiling, recently dug-and pastoral and preaching work.

I’ve come to really appreciate and look to the way the rule of St Benedict provides for forward movement in faith thru the seasonal changes of the year.

I took these photos on a rainy day a few years ago while stopping at St Martin’s Abbey and College in Lacey, WA.

St Benedict with a raven.

Someone to follow,

someone who aids

and guides us.
