Advent Workshop Update

Out the window flew the biweekly posts!

It’s been an eventful several weeks, but off to a good start with the folks at the episcopal church on Vashon island. Here is a picture from south Maury island. The beauty of the world shines thru even from land contaminated by a Tacoma smelter and stripped for gravel.

As mentioned in my recent newsletter, plans for candle-holder class are cancelled, but if you would like to build one, contact me. We can arrange a time, and hopefully invite others. I’ll send the monthly newsletter next week, so please sign up to receive it, and a share it with others!

I’ve got several workshop projects going. Folk-art furniture stencils, thole-pins (simple fixtures for oar rowing) on a duck-dory, bat-houses, oh and attempting some wooden oars. More to come!

The season of advent is soon upon us.

Blessings as your hands show

how to prepare heart and home

for the arrival of guests long-known.

the return through the window

of the peace your bones already know

passes all understanding.
